I must admit that this problem began when I bought the TASCAM to replace my old PCI Delta card (it was limiting my choice of motherboard to still need PCI).Īnybody have any idea what's going wrong here? I understand about adjusting the buffer slider. I've done all the tips for optimising Windows 10. I use the ASIO drivers for my USB TASCAM interface. I'm getting two DSP bars for just a few audio tracks and effects. The audio playback of the project is also delayed - which makes editing anything like drums very awkward.
However, as I introduce more tracks, the latency gets worse. The problem - I can open a new project, add say a piano and playing the keyboard will be instantaneous (or near as dammit).
